Christmas time is here!!!

With Christmas just days away, I wanted to post this blog to talk to you guys.

Christmas Eve is just 5 days away. Christmas Day is 6 days away. Closing in fast. The last minute gift ideas can be tricky.

If your buying for a significant other, my suggestion is buy something that you know that person has dropped hints about. Or something in the area that that person likes. For example, if your significant other likes movies, suggestions are DVDs or movie tickets for you guys to have a movie date. Or do a DIY booklet of coupons that you guys can do together. For example good for one massage. Or good for dinner at home and a movie. Things like that.
Now if you have a significant other that is hard to buy for. Then just do the best you can and homemade items have never been a bad thing. Or if you want to do a combination of store bought and homemade. They will surely love it as well.

For parents or grandparents, you can do homemade photo collages or home baked goods - cookies, cupcakes, etc.

If you are on a budget then homemade and home baked goods are great ideas.

Plus you can always Google gift ideas for him or her, etc.

Hopefully this gives you some good ideas on last minute gifts. Because we all know that stores can be very packed or be out of certain items. The items that you order online may not get to that person or if you order late thy may not get to that person by Christmas. So just keep all those factors in mind.

Why I haven't been on?

Okay, so I know I have not been posting lately. I have had a lot of  things that I have had go on. 

First I have been in school all year. Three different semesters. Spring, summer and fall. I start school again in January.  But I have a lot of things to do to get prepared for those classes.

College has been the big one. I have had some personal things come up that I have had to deal with. That I would rather not talk about. Those that are closer to me, know what I am talking about.

But anyway. I plan on trying to do more blogs. I want to try and do one or two every other day of the week. And then get into the rhythm of doing them everyday.

For example I have a few ideas of blogs I want to do.

- book reviews
- holiday/special occasion gift          ideas
- monthly favorites blogs
- advice blogs (monthly)

Those are just a few. I would like suggestions.  Plus I will be updating this blog as the month goes on.

Love you guys for hanging there with me when there was no blog for months.

BOOK REVIEW -- House at the End of the Street

SO I just finished the book House at the End of the Street. The novel is by Lily Blake.  Before I tell you guys about this book. Yes, it is based on the major motion picture film with Jennifer Lawrence. Also, I got this book on July 14, 2013. I read it in days of getting it. 

So here is my review on this book. It is a GREAT book. If you start reading it the book takes you through different turns. Turns that your not expecting.

Now I can't wait to see the movie. See how the book differs from the book. 

I loved this book. I would recommend it to anyone who likes Horror-ish books.
